Imbas Hard Tech is an electronics consulting and contracting firm that has often been a hardware partner for technical founders. We are a small team of tech experts who left the corporate world and now help businesses enhance their existing systems or build new ones from the ground up. We take on a small number of jobs at a time and give our full efforts to each one.

The word Imbas is of Old Irish origin and means roughly enlightenment or inspiration. The name reflects our beliefs that the best solutions to seemingly-impossible problems are those which enhance scientific principles using some element of artistic or creative inspiration.

Our thesis is that beautiful engineering originates in the same part of the mind as beautiful art. In all of our work we seek to achieve the merger of art and engineering, to create something elegant yet functional, intuitive yet inspired, time-tested yet new.
